About Steve:
Steve Walters grew up in Wallington, Surrey, a southeastern village of London
He started piano lessons at five and guitar at eight years old
Phil Chen bassist for (Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Bee Gees) gave Steve a lesson at 9 years of age
Steve played International basketball and was England captain which earned him a scholarship at New York Institute of Technology, where he studied Industrial Engineering.
In New York Steve met Jaco Pastorius and studied with him
